2008/2009 Season
Smarden had a slightly dissapointing season after winning promotion to the Maidstone Prem.
There were of course several highlights including the 7-3 demolition of Shepway in the league <match report> . The Den also enjoyed a good cup run in the Paul Butcher Challenge Cup including a convincing 7-1 semi final victory over Yalding but crashed out in the final, outclassed on the day by Shepway, going down 4-0
The standard post christmas slump came into play in the league and the Den ended up in an underachieving 6th some 20 points off the winners shepway

2007/2008 Season
The Den enjoyed a good season with new Hitman and club record signing Dave Law topping the goal charts with 25+. The highlight of the season was seeing off Lydd in the Weald of Kent Cup 5-2 on penalties after a tense 1-1 in the final.
Despite the good cup form and early league form, a stuttering end of season saw them only need to beat Blue Eagles on the last day to guarantee promotion. They didn't and finished 4th but as luck would have it, the league promoted 4 and Smarden returned to the Maidstone Prem

2006/2007 Season
In a small and tight league, Smarden finished in mid table obscurity. As always some big results but with too many poor performances thrown in.
